Default Creating your very own Shortwave Listening (SWL) Reporting "Tag-Line" (Signature) File

Steve - tyvm ) ~ RHF

Once you 'create' a Shortwave Listening (SWL) Reporting "Tag-Line"
(Signature) File. The Tag-Line just becomes a natural part of what
you do when you Post a Shortwave Listening (SWL) Report here.

New York City, NY
Drake R8B
Wellbrook 330s

PLUS - The usual Shortwave Listening (SWL) Reporting "INFO"
that is customarily reported by most Shortwave Listeners(SWLs) :

1. "WHO" - IDENTIFY the Radio Station / Service / Program Information
Examples : BBC, VOA, Radio Havana Cuba, WWCR, HCJB, Voice or Russia,
KWHR, Vatican Radio, ABC, RNZI, Pirate Heard with Polka Music )

2. "WHERE" - FREQUENCY in kHz or MHz
Examples : 12345.6 kHz -or- 12.345 MHz

3. "WHEN" - TIME in UTC (GMT) Zulu Time or (Local Time)
Examples : 12:34 UTC -or- 5:34 (PST)

4. "HOW WAS IT" - Signal Conditions :

* S-Meter Reading plus Listenability
* * 3 Units (and steady); 3~5 Units ("~" varies between);
-or- 9+20 Units (9 plus 20 dB)
* * Sound/Audio Quality : Strong/Great -or- Average/Good/Fair
-or- Week/Poor

* SIO Code = http://tinyurl.com/98amd
"S" Signal Strength + "I" Interference + "O" Overall Merit (Quality)

* SINPO gets to subjective and complicated

* RST mainly for CW

yes it is as simple as that ) ~ RHF
