Never heard of Opie & Anthony (probably don't want to).....

And as to stern, who cares? The *very few* times I heard him, tuned out in
less than 5 minutes. Obviously is aimed at the population that is either at
the teenage level or are *dumbed down*. He may not be a moron, but I suspect
his audience.....well you get the picture....

Well, if you've only listened to five minutes, you haven't listened long
enough to really give it a shot.

My old girlfriend hated Howard for years, but listened to a couple of
shows in my truck, and has been hooked for about 10 years now.

I can't usually stand it when the bands/singers come in and he lets them
play, and generally kisses their asses for a half hour or so, even when
I like the songs. Some of them are just plain great guests and I can
take the music and ass kissing when they are on.


The girls undressing stuff is kind of worthless on the radio, but on TV,
that's a different thing.

The stuff that other performers have ripped off from him over the last
25 years is amazing.

The phony phone calls, the people who melt down when asked a "bad"
question by a Stern phoney reporter, the freaks, the fighting between
the main people on the show all amuse the hell out of me. And Howard's
tales of what he did the night or weekend before.

I would pay for just Howard alone. Between his channel and "raw dog"
(Uncensored stand up), I haven't listened to AM or FM since I got
Sirius.
