I finally got unlazy enough to shift some of that junk around so I could
get at my G.E.model 7-2880B Long Range High Sensitivity Radio.(it says Long Range High Sensitivity on the dial of the radio) Is it the precursor to the G.E.Superadios? I bought the radio brand new back in the 1980's.Not many years later, the on/off push button switch on top quit working.I took off the back of the radio cabinet and I removed the push button switch and I slung it as far out in those weeds as I could sling it.I drilled a hole in the back of the cabinet and I replaced the push button with a cheap toggle switch I had laying around in my auto parts box.My ''fixes'' always work. cuhulin |
