You are bidding on a HALLICRAFTERS WR-600 FOUR BAND SHORT WAVE RECEIVER. This vintage receiver does not work and I don't know why. My parents bought this receiver back in the 1960s. It worked fine for many years. Recently I discovered it in storage at my Mother's house. I connected it to an electrical outlet but it didn't work. No light, no sound. The tubes didn't glow. Mom doesn't know what's wrong. This could be a good project for a Ham Radio hobbyist, or it could be a good source of parts if you already have one of these receivers. The unit is in decent physical condition with some nicks plus is missing a few knobs. I am selling this item "as is." |
