As much as I would like to agree with you, I'll take even the FAs instead of
the continued onslaught of code arguments - which aren't going "anywhere".
These groups are getting "boring" with that argument. It's only about 3
months old now - sheesh. Everyone has expressed their opinions, and
countered. Time to move on.

These No Code and FA idiots have totally ruined this newsgroup. It
used to be a great place to come and buy and sell ham gear. The No
Code discussion is caused by a bunch of social misfit retards that
dont fit in any where else. If they would say some of the things that
they say here to your face in person, well lets just say it would come
to a halt in a hurry. Look at all the rec.radio newsgroups, they are
everywhere. They cant wait to come home from work so they can poison
our newsgroups with their stupid opinions. Just my 2 cents worth.

A solution is to move to a moderated NG; if there isn't one, create one. I
suggested similar in rec.radio.shortwave due to that group being overrun by
politico's & personal attacks on/by each other.

Another solution is to set up judicious NG filtering, either by subject,
partial subject, sender or address; having done so myself for r.r.s. I can
say that 90% of the trash no longer gets seen (by me), and I just don't open
messages with subjects that aren't on topic.

FA: postings here are more "on topic" than most of what I'm seeing on
here lately. And if you don't like them, just make an "FA:" killfile.

I actually enjoy some of the OT rants and comments by folks who seem to
have little more to do (cuhulin, are you out there?). I guess different
people are here for different reasons. Anyway, whatever the appropriate
'mix' is , it must be just about right for you because here you are
