looking for power cord.
Hi I am looking for a power cord for a kenwood r-5000. A friend of mine
died a while and left me all his radios, and the power cord is missing. If anyone can help, e-mail back. I have a pay pal account. .73 from n4pge in Griffin, Georgia. I am also looking for the vs-1 synthesizer for this radio. Tnx. |

I don't know about that. I found a rear panel picture at Universal
radio. It is an odd polarized AC plug, two prongs one round one square. Similar to ones on some laptop power supply cords. Maybe Radio Shack has them, but not as common as IEC plugs on desktop computer CPU's and monitors. pltrgyst wrote: On Thu, 8 Feb 2007 04:25:47 -0500, Dana wrote: Hi I am looking for a power cord for a kenwood r-5000. According to the site, it's under $6. In the past, I've just used a similar cord and shaved one side to fit. |
