Trade ham gear for a M1 Garand

I have lots of old vintage and some new ham gear that I would be willing to
trade for a WWII or Post WWII M1 Garand rifle. Please let me know what you
have. I can receive it through my friend who is a FFL. Thanks, Charlie Hugg,
K5MBX

Nope, no typo...it's named after they guy who designed it. It's the
rifle used by U.S. forces in WWII and Korea, and even some in Vietnam,
IIRC. I've never fired one, but my dad did, in WWII.

Here's some info...http://www.memorableplaces.com/m1garand/

what's one worth? 900.00 for a poor one $1,500 for a better one?

No... usually $400 for a shooter grade M1 Garand with mismatched serial
numbers on various parts. That's what most folks want and are a dime a dozen
at gun shows. A friend just got one for free from a buddy of his, but it's
rough and needs some major cleaning.

What the heck is an M1 Garland? Some sort of tactical Christmas tree
decoration?
:-)
