You want an excellent AM receiver?

I had forgotten about the abilities of my RF2200 on A.M. I was tuning
to a local A.M. station and decided to tune around, so I turned up the
RF gain and spun the big black tuning dial. WOW! stations from all
over the East Coast came in, both booming and drifting. Being in the
Northwest corner of N.J., I can get a very wide variety of stations
from Baltimore to Indiana and beyond. The point is, don't just look to
your RF2200 for SW, the rotating ferrite rod antenna and the excellent
sensitivity of this old beastie is awesome on A.M. too......
duh duh....

Great radio, I picked mine up at an estate sale. I only wish I could find a
replacement pull-up antenna.
