Yaesu FT-301 problem
 

Hi, I have a Yaesu FT-301D - digital hf rig.

Here is the problem... the rig works great but the digital display
does not work properly.
The display will only read out the following when on... example. 80m
reads 3.000.0, 40m 7.000.0 20m, 14.000.0 and so on When I turn
the
dial the frequency displayed stays the same. No change or any attempt
to change its reading.
Ive checked the connections to the display boards, all looks ok.. As
I mentioend the rig works fine except for this.
Any suggestions ?

Greetings Mike!
I wish I had the answer as I have the same problem with mine. It
sounds like this might be an inherent problem with these. I will be
watching to see if you get any answers. Jon in South Carolina.
