I'm not the one interested in buying the rig, though they are sweet when they work. Someone that would be interested in hearing the rig that we are talking about would be a better QSO. If someone in the Chattanooga, TN/Northwest Georgia area wants to hear the rig work, they can come to my house and use my station and license to speak with you and hear the radio. How's that? Ed, NM2K Hi Ed, Actually, you are incorrect telling folks that the TA7201P Audio Chip is irreplacable.. There are at least a few thousand chips available that I know of that are OEM Toshibia and can be had for under 10 bucks US... Of course, you will have to do your own homework finding them.. However, right now on Ebay, a Brit has 10 for sale at around 25.00 US each.. While pricey (IMHO) This should satisfy at least the folks that need this chip right away..
