Select-A-Tenna is a LARGE Passive Loop and can produce 30DB signal gain
when used with an AM radio receiver. Requires NO Wires or Batteries. It
works simply by placing it next to your radio and tuning the Variable
Capacitor to the same station frequency as your radio!

Ah yes, I made one out of aluminum cable that I got for free at
the cable co. Made a nice loop with some capaticance and a small
variable one for receiving on 160.

My brother (the antenna genius) made one for me out of a wooden embroidery
hoop from a craft store, a few turns of wire, and a variable cap out of
a transistor radio. Works great! It's not as sensitive as my outdoor
long wire antenna, but it's fun to play around with nulling some signals
while pulling others out of the mud.
