This radio is one of the last of the Tempo handhelds manufactured by Henry
Radio. This radio is in good working order, has a touch-tone pad, PL dip
switch in the push-to-talk switch, speaker mike and antenna.I am not sure of
the operation of the "PL" circuit. This radio has been stored for many years
and needs a new battery. I've seen these batteries for about $25.00 in a
ready-to-install pack or they can be built by the crafty ham from individual
cells.
Just the installation of a new battery make this a great one-night project.
Great as a spare or second backup rig.
I will include the dead battery pack for comparison and purchase of new
cells/pack.
