Value of Heathkit ID-4001 Weatherstation ?????
Hello all,
Does anybody have a clue about the value of a Heathkit Digital Weather Computer model ID-4001. This is just the Console unit without the rain gauge/sensors/anenometer. Does anybody know where I could get a replacement rain gauge/sensors/anenometer? Are there any new units that would work? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Ryan |

Probably worth about 20 bucks if you can find the right buyer. Doubt the sensors would still be working after 20 years. How much are weather input devices worth today, bet you would pay over 60 for just a good anemometer.. |
Disagree. There's a huge active collectors demand for old Heathkit stuff.
Heathkit weather stations are fairly rare... especially so considering the ID-4001. If it was complete with box and documentation, probably worth $300 or more via Ebay. You could probably get $100 plus just for the computer alone. Doubt you'll find any sensors or gauges for it and if you do they ain't gonna be cheap... wrote in message ...
