Mayberry

How many saw the Andy Griffith of Mayberry Reunion show tonight?

They made up a set of the jailhouse. In it was a radio a Motorola remote.

In the Black a white show it was a newer model. The one in the temporary
set for the reunion show was older. Note the knobs and the Motorola upside
down V.

What model was the original? A T1200? What model was the one tonight?

I noticed that. Although the shots the radios were in, were very brief,
it was not the same unit. Also noted one of the jail doors would slide
from side to side and did not open on a hinge as the originals did.

It was also interesting to note that last evening the radio below the
Motorola was a Heathkit HW-16 CW transceiver...as I recall in the original
show it was a Eico CW transmitter.

I'm pretty sure they changed as the series went on too. It seems like
there were a couple or 3 different radios in the show over the years.
The old Motorola looked like one they used for a while anyway...

I can just see Barney with a CW key and Heathkit.
