I burned out the 2-meter finals in my TM-741. You should be able to
buy a new RF module at http://www.rfparts.com/module.html If you are handy with a soldering iron, it's not a difficult job. Just take your time. BTW, the symptoms were very little RF power out. It was just the driver feeding through the dead finals. The TM-741 does NOT USE GREASE. It is a torqed flat-plane mount. Grease
will not hurt it although you do not need it. The TM-741A is known for the PA going out because the RX PIN DIODE (RX Clamp) leaks (tunnel effect) and shorts the RF to ground through the High Pass Filter taking the PA with it. You MUST replace the RX PIN DIODE when replacing the PA Module or it WILL happen again.
