Amplifier Tuning Pulser
"Don't be caught without a Pulse."

Amplifier Tuning Pulser. "Save The Tubes" protect the power supply and
all the other amp components. Unit plugs into the CW port (no need to
remove the Mic). Tune your amp for full output with only 1/3 grid
current. This design allows you to tune for MAX POWER! Self contained
9v battery (included). Metal box with a 1/4 phono plug installed. Many
of my products in use. Four foot cord length. Box size is 2 3/4" L x 2
1/8" W x 1 5/8" H. (Note: The tuning pulser is designed to work with
all newer rigs. Not designed to work with the older tube final
rigs.(ie Knwd 830,520, Yaesu 101 etc.). If you question it please
email me.$41.50 shipped. Money Order accepted. See what others are
saying on eham! http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/2107

Since the post to which I am responding an advertisement, I guess it might
be ok to ask a question of the group he
I admit that I am a lid, but how is using a tuning pulser any better then
sending dits via a paddle? What am I missing?

It's no different Paul, just maybe a bit more handy if one is not a CW
op.

I don't use one here, but the idea is sound.

It's an invention that is unnecessary. You are right; just send dits. I
have been tuning my amplifier that way for years.

If you don't have a keyer, use a bug. But I do question the need to make it
battery operated; that's silly because there is the nuisance of one more
power supply to maintain.

The tuning pulser, at least some of them, have adjustable duty cycles (pulse
width and frequency) to allow the duty cycle to be set quite low.

Only the $$ you lay out for the pulser.
Sending dits is just as effective.
