So you are knowingly selling a radio that can monitor frequencies that
are not legal to monitor in this country (ie cell phone 800 Mhz)? Have
you not read the other threads on this same debate on this newsgroup and
are you prepared to answer allegations that knowingly selling a radio
with illegal frequency monitoring capabilities could land you in some hot
water????

Idiots can be trained, though morons are out of luck...

Then there are those leaders who make policies and decisions based
on whatever they dream up. They reject recommendations from the
people on the ground or those who have excellent knowledge of the
operations. I call them "combat confusers."

Oh boy... it's only illegal if one listens to the cell frequencies. Who's to
say that anyone will actually listen to the expanded frequencies? :) That's
assuming the the scanner was manufactured before the ban. If it was made
after the ban, it's illegal to modify a scanner to pick up cell freqs, at
least here in the US.

Might be unmodified but made for a foreign market (not all countries have
laws like the U.S.). But why anyone would try to sell one in the U.S. is
beyond me.
