I sure hope your friend had comprehensive insurance on it to cover
everything. Who knows what's happened to it since it was stolen. If it's
ever found, he'll probably regret it...

What's being close to Mexico have to do with anything? There are chop shops
everywhere... several in Portland that aren't even in very deep hiding..
