wtb windows 95 on floppy
trying to get an older laptop with no cd rom up and going.
need to find inexpensive windows 95 on floppy disk. thanks jack |
The average shelf life of floppy disk magnetic media is 5 years. You may
find someone who will give or sell you a set, but it is doubtful you will find any error-free Windows 95 setup disks.... I've got dos 6.6 and windows 3.11 on floppies and then a windows 95 upgrade ( from 3.11 ) on cd rom. those old 1X / 2X serial ( or parallel port ) CD roms are dirt cheap on ebay and in swapmeets. also you could try transferring the whole cd to your laptop with laplink ...... cheap and easy. ( if you've got the disk space ) also .......... 3.11 and 95 floppies are frequently found on ebay ....... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tegory=41 883 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tegory=11 229 k..........
