Default Icom Pro with 30L-1 amp?

Landed a late model 30L-1 collins amp and want to run it
with my icom pro, some one long time ago posted a mod or
knew of a ham who made up cables for this connection? the
collins is too hot of keying for the icom? isn't there a
relay box i need to fab up? never done this before, any
tips.

There are relay boxes available on eBay. I have no idea if they work
or not, though.

Larry, W8MIS makes these relays with instructions and are very reasonable. Get
his email from QRZ. 73's K9ge

If you happen to be using an Heil mic., get their FS-2 foot switch. It keys
the amp milliseconds before the radio keys. Works great. No relay needed.
Works with any radio.

I have used most of the other relays available on ebay plus W8MIS' and they
all work good.

I like the FS-2 the best though.

Are you the internet cop thats patrolling this grp? We
operate all over the bands lets say. Main freq is
7.308 MARS service. And yes I am licensed ham if must
know.
