while back is currently selling under the name gottahaveit1995
his auctions are full of lies. buy at great risk to finances

I am not sure how he got one of his accounts re-activated

I think most of the complaints were "sold as like new condition but got
garbage"

Well, that and he used several of his own alias ID's to
shill bid the price way up. I wonder how much of his
own stuff he ended up 'buying' and having to pay fees
on the final sale!! His 'gotthaveit' ID ended up winning
quite a few shill bids until he got booted and made his
gottahaveit ID his main seller ID. I'm sure he's still
a big shill bidder.

Ebay has to be awfully busy these days as their website has become a popular
cesspool for scammers like radio-mart/leslie/martyn/luke/gottahaveit1995
etc, etc.
Remember about five months ago when gottahaveit1995 was buying and
radio-mart was selling. What a hoot! Then, all of a sudden "Luke" appeared
as another Martyn alter-ego. Maybe a little medication would be in order
down there in Kentucky. Must be a good shrink avail somewhere that
specializes in schizo's.

Think of it: probably over 10-million new items appear weekly on ebay...how
would you police it? A new scam most likely born every few seconds.
However, ebay still thrives due to the efforts of many honest sellers, most
likely the great majority that enjoy the site.

It should be interesting to see how the slimey- limey gets by or gets shut
down once again! Stay tuned. Should be fun to watch once gottahaveit's
feedback turns from green to red once again....it should be inevitable! Who
will be the first buyer to ding poor Martyn once he receives a rusty
"excellent" Drake 2B.

There are quite a few reasons to believe they're the same person - but
the most compelling is Radio-mart often sold radios gottahaveit1995
bought a couple of weeks earlier.

gottahaveit1995 first tried selling right after radio-mart was naru'd.
He was promptly naru'd.

first, you should ask if I have proof.

interesting that all his feedback is as a buyer. Not much indication of
his performance as a seller.

If this is the Martyn I think it is, I'm sorry to hear that he has this
reputation. I met him in England years ago, and was well satisfied in my
dealings with him.

John .. I am happy for you that you had a good experience in dealing with
Martyn. Many of us have not. It should be a clue to you, and others, that
there are so many that are so angry after dealing with him that they would
post such items of warning. He is rude and gets nasty at the drop of a hat.
I have also met and dealt with him. I would never deal with him, on anything
again.

I would say to you and others that think he is a good guy .. go ahead and
buy whatever you wish from him and ignore the warnings. I guarantee that
soon you will join those of us who are so vocal about Martyn. You must
remember that even though he had some good deals, he was also banned from
further trading on Ebay. There must be a very good reason why!

I don't consider myself a OM moneybag but he had an item that looked
flawless. He had a steep price on it but as with many things, you get what
you usually pay for. I drove to his house in Sadieville, didn't want to
scratch it, and up the hill and loaded the item into my truck. While I was
there, being charmed, I asked him to fire the amp up and he replied that he
didn't have 220 in his house to do that. I took him at his word .. he seemed
nice enough. While there, he showed me how he could photograph something to
hide it's flaws .. clue #1 missed! On the way home it hit me that he had
central air running in his house! I broke into a cold sweat realizing that
his not having 220 at the house, was an outright lie. When I got home I
fired it up .. no HV .. despite his assurance that he had seen HV on the
meter. New transformer, open secondary, new bridge diodes, one section dead
short, and I finally saw HV. The new tubes that he claimed were included put
out about 800 watts tops. New finals too. Finally an amp that worked the way
he originally said it would. You do the math!

I have watched his auctions also and he has had some nice looking gear but I
remember that nice looking amp! Many people got good deals and those are the
ones who poopoo what is being said here, those who are naive enough to
believe that all deals with him were good ones or guys like me are dumb.
Those who believe that it's the buyer or Ebay that's the problem are
ignorant. I still have all of the pictures that he sent and all of his
email, full of deception and outright lies. In fact, one picture shows one
of the leads from the HV transformer secondary tucked behind the frame of
the transformer and not connected to the bridge but when you have never seen
one of these beasts before you don't know.

I received an email for a guy who read a previous post on Radio-Mart. The
poor guy was totally distressed because Martyn was on his tail threatening
him etc with totally rediculous stuff, law suits, police action, and from
what I was seeing it was just more Radio-Mart garbage. Martyn has a way of
being very nasty once the money is in his hand, not Mr. Nice Guy anymore.

Let's hope that either the people get wise to him or he gets shut down and
sent back to the UK.

And to Martyn .. if you read this .. have a nice day!

radio-mart is deceptive, and a hustler. never buy from him. he also
used ham calls illegally on 2 meters. .
I know, I was a victim of his "glorious ands and pictures "on e-bay
and got one of his "mint" radios"- ho-ho.
No way he acknowledges e-mail or calls on complaints, then he flames
you as the problem on feed-back.

1. both sellers mentioned are not registered on e-bay ,per my check
of e-bay They are not eligible to be active..
2. Give new info that radio-mart pirates ham radio non-used calls on
2 meters Illegal and subject to fine by FCC. He is not a legally
registered Ham.
3. Confirm that radio-mart, when active on e-bay, is bad news for any
buyer, from personal experience.
