A minitor 2 pager is crystal controlled. Therefore if I was looking
for one on say 167.5375, I would want to know that this one was on
167.5375, not 167.2125.

So 167.XXXX isn't at all clear when you're dealing with a frequency.
Point taken. However, if that is the band you are going to use, getting
another crystal isn't that difficult or expensive. If you are staying
within 1-3 MHz of the original frequency you probably don't need to
retune the unit. The tone reeds tend to be more expensive and I have
found that you can almost never get a used pager with the ones you need.
