With mine I had to go to a solid state intermediate relay.
AES and others carry them. The relay contacts in the 756 series are a
tad light for keying most of the older amps.

Roger, did look into those, AES has a Heil foot switch
that would work double as a keying relay, but that foot
switch is not for me. Months back someone posted a
older ham hr on this grp that had some for sale, but i
dont remember his call, he may be a sk by now. A W7
call i think? Theres an up coming hamfest in the area
here in 2 weeks, i may look then.

cheers, steve.

They also have the Icom and MFJ keying interface for amps as well.
(or did) That's where I purchased mine.

I keyed an old Henry 2K-4 and now an Alpha 76 with the Icom unit. I
used the MFJ with the old 751A out in the shop, although the 751 A
relay is heavy enough to key the 2K-4 by itself.

I sold the 751A and need to get the old HT-32 driving the Henry even
if I do have an HT-33B setting next to it.
