This is the thing everyone is talking about. No description at all
just a link. You are a moron. On Sun, 05 Jun 2005 01:04:59 GMT, "KU4YP" wrote: 3 days left http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ADME:B:LC:US:1 |

While I tend to agree with you on these auctions that aren't "For Sale" items, I must say, it is you who are the dummy if you can't figure out the description. Did you look at the Subject line? Ed |

I read the subjects and for the life of me can't understand what wayward
waterfowl have to do with rec.radio.swap?? The Heathkit I got, but I'm assuming they had more than one kit? As for the MFJ item... I'll give ya that. The point is, 99% of these links are useless to the newsgroup user and are usually useless for a buyer in general as they aren't seen until 12 hours after the auction is OVER. I don't check newsgroups every morning before work, and gasp sometimes not for 2 weeks at a time. THEN consider the fact that they jam up the archives and searches for the next several years. 404 dude. It doesn't just annoy the newsgroup, it jams up a simple internet search, too... we have to see them here, then we have to pilfer through all the "invalid item" links that pop up in general internet searches and more. Take a minute, next time you get an 'invalid' or 'not-found' item or posting and check the date on it. I'll lay cash on the barrel head that it's a 2-year-old ad for a 3-day auction. Then you go back to clicking that same nonsense for the next 4 and a half minutes just to find a useful link... rb "Ed" wrote in message . 93.175... This is the thing everyone is talking about.
