Help: Collins 51S-1 No rx on 1 band

Help: Collins 51S-1 No rx on 1 band
Hi
I just received a MINT Collins 51S-1
and I tried all bands on receive and all work great
except the AM broadcast band 77 ABC etc.
All other bands are fine?
Can someone tell me where to look for the problem?
I haven't taken it out of the case yet.
Thanks very much......Rich

Look for an open inductor on one of the band wafers. It's been a few years
but that's the problem mine had. It's not too hard to pull them if you
follow the manual.

AND . . . if you didn't get a manual with that 51S-1, there's a guy
on Ebay that is selling an EXCELLENT bound "copy" of one for $18.00. I
just purchased one, myself.
