Okay, I can understand how the amateur-only-coverage is *barely*
germane (since the ads are crossposted into a pair of non-ham groups),
but what *possible* consideration should the color of the poster's
backdrop be? Is it a trademark of a reputed lid, or are you just
being sarcastic?

Computer software consists of only two components: ones and
zeros, in roughly equal proportions. All that is required is to
sort them into the correct order.

Is that a commercial usenet group? I didn't realize there was such a
thing.

I have some nice old books...

That's got me scratching my head too? Maybe it has to do with making the
merchandise look better like Red furnishings and wallpaper in a sleazy
bordello ; )

Uhhh where's the diatribe.

I only read an observation that it only had ham bands. A serious
limitation....

Is there a color you would more prefer?
I can delete the add and run it again with a different color background if
it
would be more to your liking!

It's just that that colour background, red, has come to be associated with a
seller of some dubious natu radiomart.

I don't understand the purpose of the comment either??... Not a limitation
for hams interested in a vintage amateur receiver... My dad had one and his
comments were featured in QST. Now I know what it looks like.

Perhaps, but not knowing anything of this radiomart it is generally
meaningless. Note that "daniel s 13" responds not, therefore I suspect a
troll with on other outlet for frustrations.

Radiomart will purchase a radio on ebay, put it up for auction a week
later claiming he has had it in his collection for years, or has more
than one and is getting rid of the extras. He nearly always uses a red
background and photographs the object to make it appear much better than
it really is.
