FS: Heil icM ICOM Microphone with cable
 

I have for sale an almost new (used a few hours) Heil icM microphone,
complete with the Heil Icom plugged cable (the CC-1-i8 cable). This
microphone has a studio quality ceramic electret condenser element to
drive the early Icom rigs such as the IC-706, 735, 745, 746, 751, 756,
761, 775 and 781 transceivers which require high audio drive from electret
and not dynamic microphones.

The iCM contains the new 'Heil 'iC' element in a beautiful new platinum
finish body perfect for hand held use or mounting on a desk stand or
microphone boom. It is supplied with a universal mic clip that will
interface with a variety of stands and booms.

The 'iCM' comes complete with an self attached 5 foot length of the
'Heilwire' cable and terminates in the familiar 8 pin Foster connector
wired to mate with all early 8 pin ICOM front ends. A 1/4 inch female pig
tail exits this 8 pin connector that allows the interface of a footswitch
or hand switch (both optional) to control the PTT line. A Soft touch PTT
switches is mounted on the body of the iCM. The frequency range of the new
high performance Heil 'iC' element is 35 Hz to 10,000 Hz @ -3dB. Perfect
for the early ICOM audio preamplifiers.

The microphone has had only a few hours of use. I am selling because I
rarely get on SSB anymore. The original box and plastic case and manual
are included as well as the Heil microphone stand clip. Usual mail order
price new is USD$90 plus shipping. I will sell for USD$65. This price
