Look for a Maxar 80 manual for UHF and you should be OK. The crystal
multipliers were same across the product line and the UHF models pretty much tune up alike. Converting to a repeater model is difficult as there is a seperate receiver mounted in a sheilded box and interface filter specific to the repeater. I built one once using two sheilded boxes one for the receiver and one for the transmitter. It performed superb. If you can find a complete repeater, or better yet two so you can shield the transmitter, you can do pretty well. Otherwise you have only a base station in a clunky plastic enclosure.
