That would be Murray Neese down in Texas somewhere. I bought a Yaeseu
radio from him some years back. It arrived not functioning right,
probably damaged in shipment. He immediately refunded my money,
including shippng both ways. He was a class act on that transaction.

There are many other folks, however, that have had negative experiences
with him and are glad to bad mouth him. Most of what I remember reading
about the complaints are basically that they want to buy mint condition
radios for next to nothing and are upset that Murray seems to find
radios at low cost and then sells them for whatever the market will
bear. When the problem seemed to involve what you might call "customer
service", it seems that the complainers would first get online and
denounce him as a crook before attempting to reasonably work out a
solution. I won't deal with assholes either. There may well be some
legitimate complaints against him, but I don't know about them.

I agree, his prices are on the high side, but then he doesn't set
them, the other bidders do. If you don't want to pay that much, don't
buy it.

Definitely NOT Murray Neese.

Radio Mart is a guy named Martyn who lives in Kentucky.

I never bought from him but he bought a radio from me last year.

He paid on line immediately and I shipped the radio to somewhere near
Louisville.

I, too, received a damaged item from Murray some time back - Amp with a
broken tube.

Murray overnighted me a replacement tube that day. Good guy.

You're confusing Murry of Radio Ranch with Martyn of Radio Mart. Murry
is not Martyn or vice versa...

What about all the repeated threads about shill bidding?
Something about the same handful of bidders always driving his auction
prices up??

Murray?? NO WAY.... NOT POSSIBLE.
Radio Mart is a guy I've heard a lot of crooked stories about.....

Murray Neece is a legit businessman,
and trustworthy. I've had dealings [usually over $1K each] with Neece, and
I guarantee he made MINIMAL profit and MAXIMUM
customer satisfaction. Worked out a problem on our second deal like I was
his kin. Would deal with him anytime.

Oh, and for the original troll who needs an English class... Most people who
sell things on a regular basis *are* in it for the money.
Funny thing, try as I may, the power company just won't take my good looks
and winning smile as payment.

Ditto on Murry, I have had nothing but great dealings with him. I have
always found him to be honest and his descriptions understate the condition
of equipment.

Had a chance to meet Murray at a hamfest in Gainesville, TX a few years ago.
Nice guy. Didn't have anything I was interested in, but his stuff was clean
and in working order. People I know and trust who have done business with
him have come away satisfied with the deal.

Remember: this is Murray at Radio Ranch we are talking about, not
RadioMart.

Have dealt with Martyn on several occasions, and have met him
personally....yes his prices get high, but it is an auction, so he will
only get what the market will bear,
Have found him personable, honest, and quick to reply on e-mails
YMMV
