Vintage Military Radio

A friend who was a ham in the 1960s showed me photos last night of a
WWII era radio set he'd acquired in the late 1960s, in the original
factory shipping cartons.

How would I go about helping him value this set? Its TCS-13
transmitter/receiver set. And it looks brand new.
