If I were his USMC supervisor, I wouldn't let him near any of it.
This would be another case of "close supervision," followed by "wall
to wall" counseling.
Bounce him from one wall to the next? :-)
Pity about not knowing those communications radios.
The ARC-27 was, and still is, a good unit for 225-400 MHz military
comm band. It was born in Iowa at the Collins works. Tube type,
been around for a very long time.
Can hold the USS Enterprise at staionkeeping as an anchor.
A question cannot be a lie...It can only be a question.
OK. Have you stopped beating your wife?
Which one?
He stayed away from this one in his reply.
Isn't it amazing that a simple question can be both a lie and a
smear-tactic?
Maybe Stebe is "lying in wait?"
Cute, Lennie.
Even the "Have you stopped beating your wife" trick can be
defeated.
Come on, Lennie...YOU know how...
Ah, but there's never any proof. His standard answer is "it's in my
record" but nobody in here has seen that famous "record."
Somewhere at NARA there's a true record of his military service
and exactly what and where those famous "hostile actions" were
that he was supposedly in. Not really worth the trouble to access
the National Archives and Records Administration.
In other words: "I'd better not try or I'll have to eat my
words".
The guy who labels others a "liar" claims to have worked on lots of
military communications equipment but never mentions a single
detail about it, rationalizing his reasons as "it's all classified..."
Lennie, I've asked this question before, and I'll reiterate it
again...
WHEN have I said ANYthing about what I did as being
"classified"...?!?!
What I HAVE said is that I will not get into this CV silliness
YOU have.
MY USMC MOS is available if you care to look.
The equipment I had to be qualified on in order to hold that MOS
is ALSO available, again if you care to look.
I'll argue the imagination part, Brian. Remeber Stebe's "hostile
actions?" :-)
The famous Seven instances of self-abuse?
Mental masturbation?
At least some of us remember what "masturbation" (of ANY kind)
was supposed to accomplish, Lennie.
All those "Viagra" commercials on TV hitting a bit close to home?
Careful, Brian, those are His study books for the Civil Air Patrol.
I forgot about his CAP tie-in. Must be where he's finding those
1950's era "This Is The Air Force" books.
...that's about on par with the same era in U. S. amateur radio and
the state-of-the-art of amateur technology then.
Ahhhhh....Llennie and Brain back to bashing yet ANOTHER volunteer
organization...Of course Lennie took his shot at CAP and Civil Defense
a couple years ago and never gave an adequate defense of his
assertions THEN, either.
Of course Lennie was never OLD enough to have been a member of
either during the war.
Wet or dry? Doesn't matter. He couldn't work the hypsometric
equation if his life depended on it, but like the CAP groupie that he
is, probably hangs out at the local AF weather station, wishing he had
made better choices in life.
Sort of brings a mental picture of Stebe in flight suit grubbies posing
by an old 1.6 GHz radiosonde tracking antenna. :-)
Never mind...too many in here don't have any knowledge of "other"
radio or meteorology...meteorology other than "putting up a front,"
that is...
As for "putting up fronts", we have "Lennie The Licenseless"
preaching to us about how Amateur Radio SHOULD be, from the comfort of
never having to be concerned withe the consequences of his meddling.
Oh..And yes...About how aerial navigation is taught and employed
without the benefit of a valid Airman's Certificate...Oh yes...He DID
fly a few ours as a student pilot in the 50's...
As a matter of fact, seems ALL of Lennie's "experience" comes
from the fifties...Kinda like his "parenting" experience from which he
has suggested that an age limit should be enacted in Amateur
Radio...No doubt from his exposure to Marlon Brando in biker regalia,
tearing up Southern California...
Still hasn't provided us with his credentials in THAT
venue...Seems anyone who had successfuly raised offspring would be
anxious to tell us of thier child rearing days...
Yet ANOTHER unanswered LennieRant...
