Just be sure your "insinuations" stay that way, Mr. Burke.
There never was an insinuation, Mr. Robeson. It was a case of your
misunderstanding and a dose of your wishful thinking.
I don't think that your previously archived comments might be
read that way.
For an offense to have occured, it onl;y requires that it be
perceived as such.
Personally, I think you were just pushing the limits of how
offensive you could be and still get away with it.
It didn't work.
Thre's no apology to offer, Brain.
There should be. Why do you assume yourself to being above making
mistakes, such as the one you made above?
As I pointed out, in order for an offense to have occured, the
person only need have PERCEIVED that a threat was rendered.
I have warned you off, but you keep barrelling right on in.
Were you born an idiot, or was this a life-long achievement?
I am TELLING you that ANY insinuation of use of firearms on MY
person IS a threat, and that it's the LAST thing you want to do.
I am telling you that there was no insinuation except in your capacity
to comprehend. And I still read a threat in your latest reply.
No threat. A warning. A thrat implies a violent, illegal
response. Trust me, if you keep this up, the result will be anything
BUT illegal...And expensive I might add.
Now move on to your apology.
None will follow, unless YOU would care to express one for
uttering language that was perceived as a suggestion that you might
hold a gun to one's head, Brain.
And incase the last few hints didn't hit home with you, I suggest
you discuss with legal representation of your choice what can be
perceived as a threat.
Someone else in this forum tried that, and I can tell you that he
found out that my reach exceeds the length of my arms to this
keyboard...And the results were expensive AND quite legal.
I am not someone else in this forum.
But you MIGHT be someone NEXT, Brain.
Meanwhile, I still read a threat in your response.
A warning. I perceive your references to the holding of a gun to
my head as a threat. If you meant it any other way you may, in the
next response to this thread, express a retraction of that statement
and an apology for the anxiety it caused.
Otherwise I will assume your intent WAS to cause it, and I can
proceed accordingly if you insist.
Now move on to your apology.
What apology?
No, Brain...On THIS one I am sure.
The fool is always so sure, especially when they're wrong.
And in this case when he refuses to admit that he uttered words
that were percieved as threatening and offensive.
Which would be you...
Gunny, you need to move on to your apology.
What apology?
Steve, K4YZ
