Alun, please remember that FISTS is an organization that promotes the
fun of morse code use. It was not meant to be a political
organization.

FISTS, a mighty force (with a woman at the helm) is bound and
determined to have EVERYONE enjoying what they enjoy...
despite the high noise floor of independent thought.

Obvioulsy (an as usual, I might add) you haven't read any of
thier position papers or read any of thier submissions to FCC NPRM's
lately.

They make [expletive deleted] sure that will be ENFORCED by
keeping the morse code test in amateurism forever and ever.

As I said...

FISTS represents the "amateur community."

FISTS represents thier membership, all of whom (to the bst of my
knowledge) are or have been licensed Amateurs.

Ergo, all amateurs must demonstrate their dedication and resolve
by satisfying FISTS.

There ya go again.

The amateur LAW can never be changed to remove a morse test.
Unthinkable in 1930s thinking. Heretical.

For a 1930's kinda guy (like you) I am sure yuo see it that way.

[expletive deleted] :-)

YOU would find the use of profanity in public "funny".

I think it's sad you can't express yuorself effectively without
it or alluding to it. Shame on you.
