I have been perfectly consistent. Most people just don't
understand that AC current reverses direction every 1/2
cycle and flows backwards just as often as it flows forward.
All they have ever seen is an RMS current arrow pointing
away from the source toward the load. The RMS model for
AC has seduced a whole generation of engineers into
feeling the RMS model dictates reality.
