I assume that you will also suggest that low band VHF television stations
*also* reduce their power to 50 watts? They do not operate at the 100 or
1000 watt level, you know - and 56 to 60 MHz is channel two television in
the US. 60 to 64 is channel 3 ....
Actually, this could prove hilarious. I think there is a channel 3 in
Syracuse, NY, just 60 miles away or so ...
Oh, puleeeze do us that favor

Well I was waiting till the time was right, its not right yet, but I
might as
well tell you.
First the solution to Dumbing Down is easy, we can thank BPL for the
solution.
I have been recording on Air QSO by Hams who have made comments in
regards to
Jamming BPL. I have also been saving messages by Hams which have stated
the
same. The recordings and messages are on CDs that I have and will continue
to
collect.
Since the FCC and so called Ham Orgs have decided that the best thing for
Ham
Radio is Dumbing Down, and I have decided that it is not the best thing.
Heres what Im going to do. As soon as the FCC converts Ham Radio into
CBHAM
Radio.
I will wait for the first BPL complaint by the Utilities, at that point
the CDs will go to the Utility that is complaining, im sure there Lawyers
will
know what to do with the info, also a copy will go to the
FCC. This should give the FCC and the BPL Company more than enought info
to put
the blame on HAMS. At that point I will also make a suggestion on how to
solve
the BPL problem. My comment to BPL and FCC will be to reduce power level
of all
HF Ham XMITTERS to 50 WATTS ERP or less, if 50 Watts to much then it can
always
be adjusted down, this should reduce BPL Problems.
What burden will that put on Hams, not much for the CW operators, now for
SSB
CBplussers it may be a problem, but it shouldnt be, you guys are so
tallented
you should be able to overcome that problem. Theres is more that I will
recomend to BPL but I will save that for latter.
