learn code only to pass the test?


At first. I became a ham 37 years ago in large part because I wanted to join
the folks on 75 AM. But once I was exposed to the code and used it on the air,
I found I liked it, and just kept on using it. Wound up passing all six code
tests (5/13/20 wpm, sending and receiving).

Can you still do 15wpm?


Oh yes. More than double that, in fact. Also much less. 5-40 wpm or
thereabouts, what ever the situation calls for.

Do you beat
your wife?


I haven't mentioned marital status here. Not relevant. But I don't beat anyone.
