The difference (as I see it) is how we respond.

But perhaps your point is valid also.

Thank-you. But it was YOUR point, Jim, not mine!

So I'm correct all around!

Len calls me name, posts things that aren't true and attempts to

insult
me.
In general he behaves like an out-of-control child here. Does that

mean I
should do the same?

Hmmm?

"Hmmm?" indeed, Jim.

Just answer the question, Steve. Should I behave as Len does or not?

It's not a matter of how Lennie behaves or how you respond to it,
Jim, it's THAT you respond after having offered counsel to others to
NOT respond at all.

I agree, now that you've pointed it out.

Still, you've avoided my question: - Should I behave as Len does or not?

And I have answered it, Jim.

It's not about "acting like Lennie".

It's a fact that he IS a scumbag bully. There's just too much
documentation to the contrary.

It's an opinion as to what constitutes documentation.

I am quite satisfied that Google's archives do that nicely.

A "bully" is someone who gets others to do his/her bidding by force or
intimidation. When has Len been able to do that to me?

Everytime you respond to him, Jim...EVERY time.

Not as I see it. But that doesn't mean I should respond, because it may be
rewarding the behavior regardless of the style of the response.

Yep. Regardless of whether you threw the dog the bone, or
whether he tore it off the postman's leg, he gets it. I say leave him
chained up and let him starve.

Arf!

Arf arf!

Thanks again. Can I frame this post?

I thought you printed out and framed all my posts. ;-)

I can't afford that much paper! =)
