The FCC is still haggling with the MX applications (where competing apps
have been filed in the same city for the same frequency) and is taking their
sweet-assed time with those.

We were supposed to get five windows of 100 watt stations, followed by five
windows for 10 watt stations. It's been several years and we're not through
the first five yet, even though the last filing period was months and months
ago.

A friend said you'll never see LPFM fully implemented under Powell's
watch -- he has too many big radio corporate interests and is in bed with
the NAB. Notice how IBOC got shoved down everyone's throats with lightning
speed, yet LPFM just drags on and on and on ...

IMHO, get the current Bozos out of the White House, then push for an LPFM
friendly FCC appointment from John Kerry.
