Wednesday, 24 November 2004

On Friday (19/11), the UK based Christian Broadcasting Council, held its
Annual Media Awards for 2004 at the Holiday Inn in Stoke-on-Trent.

The awards covered the whole range of television and radio in the UK and our
awards went to a variety of organisations covering both mainstream
broadcasters and some satellite channels.

The Association of Christian Writers helped CBC in the judging of the
section of the awards for Christian writers named Fred Grossmith Awards, in
honour of the writer and past Vice President of CBC the Rev Frederick T
Grossmith who went to be with the Lord in 2002. Fred was always keen to
encourage Christian writers and scriptwriters.

All CBC awards are judged on their excellence of production and on their
Christian content.
