We have been using Larsen 1296 antennas for many years, but they do not
presently appear in their commercial catalog. Contact the HRO store in
Mountain View and see if anyone remembers the actual model number or better
yet, if they still have any in stock. They were NMO mount, and were either
5/8 over 1/2 or 1/2 over 1/2 wave, about 12" tall overall, 4 or 5 turn coil
in the middle.
