=A0=A0If that was you I heard on July 4th, I 'd hold on to that
set-up,,it sounded really good.
N3CVJ has one of those Dave-Made M-80 linears, in addition to a Texas
Star. He claimed the Texas Star is much cleaner. If you are having a
"bleed" problem, you may wish to look into purchasing or trading for a
Texas Star, or do some fine tuning and tweaking to get the interference
to a mild roar. Try the process of elimination, stock mic, reduced TX
power, audio, adding a better ground, etc. Good luck whatever you chose.

Hi Twist, JP only posts here when he's

hawking some noise maker.

I don't care about for-sale posts when they are on topic and related to
the group...some do, I don't mind them. Some are interesting and provide
great debate,,like Grif's Skywave. I would most definitely buy from a
reg on here as opposed to a one-shot spammer. Word of mouth on this
group has led to some great introductions (which in turn led to several
friendships being formed), and business referrals and even the most
silent sandbagger now has a clue who is cool to do business and who
isn't.

BTW, how's the fishing going down there?

=A0=A0The sport fishing hasn't been bad,, in fact, shark fishing has
been great, but the weather has been terrible...really bad. Small craft
warnings several days in the last two weeks....makes for plenty of wet
inshore and river activity. Plenty of Bull Sharks being caught just
beyond the furthest cast from shore. I took a radio bud from NH to a
local fishin' spot when he was in the Bay area,,,several Bulls, all 5
foot and above, were caught last weekend from that location,
approximately 40 to 50 yards from shore, in less that 6 feet of water,
between 5:00 PM and 11:30 PM with a water temperature of 88 degrees and
an air temp of 92. Barometer was rising like mad.
With the walls of water coming down frequently and heavily,...you
oughtta see my yard....needs cut every 4 or 5 days!!
