make DX contacts through the radio, but will

night too. Most are interested in boring
aspects of radio such as contesting (making
short random contacts over and over again)..
Also, a significant percentage of them are
overweight, more than the general population.
Not surprisingly, very few females in Ham
radio.

So true. I hear way more females on the cb as compared to hammie radio.
Hehee, I see you haven't listened to the local 145.35 machine in the
afternoon!
