I've got one I've downloaded called Bobby's
Backyard. It's definitely an audience tape. I
was drumming to some of it, and he lost his
timing more then a few a times. I had to pick it
back up when he started to play again. There
are crowds, dogs and airplanes! I like when he
said, "Shut up, mutt."
=A0=A0Ahhh,, At first I thought you may have stumbled upon some rare
gem.....never heard it called that before until I did some research...I
don't have the MP3 and haven't heard it (the MP3),,but I found it (
tape, of course). It was a benefit for Jerry Brown in Chachauga, Ca in
'82. The infamous KC Moan. Good stuff.
Is this the setlist?
Bob Weir's Backyard
Date ?
Walkin' Blues
Twilight Time
Blackbird
Take Me To The River
K.C. Moan
When I Paint My Masterpiece
Travels The Fastest-
Easy To Slip
Victim Or The Crime-
Throwing Stones
The Weight//
Searched high and low for information about
this show to no avail!
ANYBODY with good info, please get in
touch...

That's the one.
source (questionable?):

The sets are longer then an 80 minute CD, so
I have to listen in MP3.
Where, oh where have my XLIIS 90's gone,,,,oh where oh where can they
be? DAT's are still forbidden by some promoters and live bootleg cds?
Forget about it!
The 84.4 MB file is 46:07. You'd lose 1:06 on
a 45 minute side. The encoding rate is double
the standard MP3 rate, that's why it's half as
long as I thought it was. I have other sets I've
downloaded that are over 80 minutes long.
I have DAT to CD copies of some soundboard
shows. (I'm in the loop). I have one of the
signed show posters from a P+P show at the
Warfield.
Most tapers from this crowd today prefer the DAT,,many the micro-mini
versions. I lack no source for them,,,I just never made the switch..it
appears to be such a monumental task....redoing thousands and thousands
and more thousands of hours,,,,I look at the walls of tape spanning
almost 45 years and wonder if I will ever get to it...my PRINTED trade
list was 17 pages (double-spaced) and that's just from the family
tapes,,,I didn't bother to list other relations, even though I have
probably another thousand or so of those........yea yea,,I
know,,everyone went through it,,,,,,I'm just taking my time...content
with my 1st gen audiences, many soundboards, a few Betty Boards, and a
few select masters. Even before DAT, I didn't like anything below a 1st
generation tape. Things look pretty good for a fall trip.
