>>Shakespeare NBS 2010 Big Stick Base Antenna<<
Twistedhead, you really have no clue.....
From:
(Homac)
I used a Shakespeare 1600 for 15 years and
have recently purchased a Shakespear NBS
2010. They are quite a bit better than the
Antron 99.
Totally subjective.
The IMAX 2000 comes close and radiates as
well. The problem with the IMAX 2000 is it is
not as well constucted as the Shakespeare.
My "beater" antron has been abused in more ways than you can imagine,
including being dropped in abrasive salt water. It has been dropped from
tall trees while being bungee strapped, it has been whacked by trees
when being used as a mobile antenna during many hunting seasons, it has
slivers of fiberglass that irritate the bare hand, is faded from the
sun, is so old I can't remember it's exact age, and is used at least 4
days per week with kick-ass nothing-less-than-spectacular results. When
can I expect it to fail and what will happen to its inferior
contstruction? g
Shakespeare makes antennas for the US
military, their antennas tend to be a bit more
durable.
Hope this helps......
