Check the AM power regulator, the predriver, driver, and final in the
rig. One of them is most likely shot. If it's not one of those, check
for heat failure of the capacitors in the xmit circuit.

Of course, your best bet would be to get rid of that Galaxy junk and
get a real CB, such as a Uniden.
