Default Effective letter to ebay

The following letter is most effective, accurate, and truthful. It is
exactly the format that the AKC has been using for our ratting
activities. Try your hand, rat out a gay keyclown amplifier auction
today. You may need to change a few words depending on the particular
auction, but the general format should be kept.

Ebay Rules and safety:

These items are illegal amplifiers useable on CB radios. The seller
states that they are within FCC guidelines, but by definition of
several things they are not.

1. Seller states in several of the auctions that the devices use
"SD1446" transistors, which are for use between 3 mhz and 30 mhz in
the radio spectrum. Amplifiers that can operate between 24 and 35 mhz
as manufactured, and with less than 50 watts driving power are illegal
under FCC rules.

2. Seller states that these devices will operate with a driving power
of 1 watt. Here again comes the reference to amplifiers needing less
that 50 watts driving power being illegal between 24 and 35 mhz.

The appropriate section of FCC rules that validates this complaint is
quoted below.

FCC rule 2.815(b): After APR 27, 1978, no person shall manufacture,
sell or lease, offer for sale or lease (including advertising for
sale or lease), or import, ship, or distribute for the purpose of
selling or leasing or offering for sale or lease, any external radio
frequency amplifier or amplifier kit capable of operation on any
frequency or frequencies between 24 and 35 MHz.
-------------------End of quote----------------------------
Please take action to stop the illegal sales of these amplifiers. They
are a source of radio interference to home entertainment equipment,
public service band radio equipment, legitimate CB and Amateur radio
service users, and emergency first responder communications.

Thank You
