Just got my cable and internet back up from the big thunder
boomer's we've been having in Ohio. The town is basically
flooded but the water is going down a bit now. We lost electric
for a good while, thank goodness for the generator.
People lost a bunch of boats to the flood at the rocky river
marina's. What a mess.
Anyone else get the monsoon?
I was wondering about that Steve, Knox county isn't that far from
you, they had several hundred trees get blown over, every county
around me right now is under folod warnings.
grrrrrr make that flood warnings, this is what happens when you
try typing first thing in the morning w/o having any coffee first.
I got ya Keith, this pattern just won't let up. They are calling
for more rain this coming week too.
Got more of this crap coming through today looks like most of it will
miss us here. but that cah change, the heat and humidity combined
with unstable air mass makes ripe conditions for pop-us, and thats
what damn near wiped Xenia off the map.
Oh man..what a mess that was. Erie and Huron counties are under
a tornado watch right now...
We had a confirmed touchdown at 108 and the Henry/Putnam Co line this
afternoon at 6 PM, and we have another cell hitting us now, and a third
right on it's tail. He have 2 towns with downed trees and power lines at
the moment.
Hope you made out allright..we got pounded again last night too.
Did ya see Cleveland on the news? many people lost boats yesterday. Glad
mine is at Lake St. Mary's, I almost brought it up to Port Clinton, I
have a 28 ft Cabin Cruiser.
