Default Farewell Amateur Radio and CB

From: (Landshark)
Well you're right about that, when Leland talks
tech about something that he might know a lot
about, it would be worth something. Problem

with that, Leland doesn't talk about CB,

...and one of the problems with Frank is he can't remain on topic when
he disagrees with someone or DOES talk about cb.

Doesn't own a CB, Has no interest in CB,

Nor does Frank have the interest in cb, only in what he THINKS cb should
encompass. He has stated he has no interest in a group or hobby that
advocates (which he erroneously claimed applied to this group) illegal
operation and attempted to begin his own self-moderated version of this
group to deal with his misguided self-impositions.

advocates shooting CB'ers that don't follow

the rules in the head like they were terrorist.

And Frank has said the lawbreakers (dx shooters, amp users, freebanders,
etc.) on cb are "criminal" and should be locked up. Not as deadly as
shooting one in the head, but certainly as radical and ridiculous.

Frank, while condescending in tone, at least

he owns a CB, Talks CB, Does experiments

with CB.

So does Leland, whether he wishes to discuss it or not. His reasons for
doing such may be just as valid as Frank's reason for denying his hammie
status.

=A0Now don't get me wrong, when I'll disagree

with Frank, I'll let him know, of course he'll

start in with that arrogant attitude, but that

doesn't preclude the fact that sometimes he's

wrong, sometimes he's right.

No doubt about it. But somehow, when Leland gets to talking tech, one
gets the sense he is actually enjoying himself and the subject. Even
when talking tech, Frank is always ****ed off at himself and the world
with an ax to grind and a chip on his shoulder. YOU can understand
agreeing with someone when they are right (despite past disagreements),
and the group can understand agreeing with someone when they are right
(despite past disagreements) and the world can understand agreeing with
someone when they are right, but for some odd reason, Frank allows his
personal feelings and emotions to run amok, as seeing me agree with
Leland has him emotionally charged and showing personal envy. Agreeing
with someone who is correct on a certain subject, even though one
usually disagrees with said person on most issues, is miscontrued by
Frank as "sucking up" and illustrative of his incompetence.
