You may or may not be able to easily use the antenna. It depends not only the
radiator but also the base matching coil/capacitor. It would be easier and not
all that expensive to use an actual 2m antenna, unless you just want to
experiment. What you could do is get a 2m antenna tuner and hook it up to your
existing antenna and see what happens.
