did - now someone here says I should tune it. The antenna
has a section that comes in and out held on with a allen screw.
I think I'll just leave it. Apparently it takes an meter which
I don't have. Thanks. Should work ok.

The anntenna base is magnetic. The antenna is aboaut 18 inches long and
screws on to this magnetic base.
